Stress has been identified as a major cause of disease in all living things.
Stress can be
- Physical
- Chemical
- Emotional
In order to be a healthy person, stress must be managed. Emotional stress can be the most difficult to control. Mood, attitude and beliefs do have very powerful influences on our well-being.
- Anxiety/Depression - Compromises the immune system and promotes cardiovascular disease.
- Helplessness/Hopelessness - Increases cancer growth and digestive disorders.
- Anger/Fear - Inhibits detoxification processes and cell repair mechanisms.
- Love/Joy - Stimulates the body's healing, cleaning, and pain relief functions (naturally!).
